About the Missouri Philharmonic
Founded in 2005, the Missouri Philharmonic is southwest Missouri’s regional civic orchestra. Comprising more than 100 talented professionals, students, and enthusiasts, the MoPhil presents a yearly concert season of great orchestral masterworks.
Performances are held on the campus of Drury University (900 North Benton Avenue, Springfield, MO), The Gillioz Theatre, and at the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts.
In recent years, the orchestra has been a prizewinner in the national American Prize Competition and collaborated with numerous regional artists and organizations.
